Multilingual Content

First-class i18n, built in from day one

Sveltia CMS was born to manage multilingual sites. Edit languages side by side, translate a whole entry with one click, and store content in the structure your framework expects.

Translation without the busywork

Editing

Two languages, one screen

Open any locale in the second pane to translate field by field, or switch it back to the live preview. The language switcher flags missing translations and errors, and a Copy button brings content over from another language.

AI translation

Translate a whole entry with one click

Connect Google Cloud Translation or an LLM from Anthropic, DeepSeek, Google, Mistral AI or OpenAI with your own API key, then translate all fields or just one. Text you mark as excluded stays untouched.

Content structures

Store translations the way your framework expects

Keep all locales in one file, or use a file or folder per locale. Nested collections and page bundles are supported too, so Sveltia CMS fits Astro, Hugo, Eleventy and other frameworks.
